Man dead, another critical after they were found shot at northwest Atlanta apartments

ATLANTA — At least one man died and another was critically injured after they were found shot at a northwest Atlanta apartment building early Monday, according to police.

Atlanta police officers responded to a man who was found shot on the 900 block of Marietta Street overnight on Monday.

The unidentified man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

When officers arrived, Grady personnel was already on the scene.

Later on Monday morning, officers confirmed another man was found dead in this area.

Police believe the incidents were related.

Homicide investigators are still investigating the shootings and how they may be related.
