COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A 12-year-old is dead after police said a driver lost control of his car and hit several trees over the weekend.
Cobb County police said Gregory Sagnan was driving along Brown Road when he went off the road going around a curve near Brown Leaf Trail.
Investigators said two 12-year-olds were in the back seat and one of them was killed in the crash. The other child was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sagnan was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital for his injuries.
There is no word if Sagnan is facing any charges in this case as the crash remains under investigation.
