ATLANTA — Channel 2 Action News has learned a missing toddler and his grandfather have been found unharmed Friday morning.
They were found at the grandfather's girlfriend's house.
Police said Michael Taylor, 42, left Allen Temple Apartments in northwest Atlanta with his 2-year-old grandson, Anthony Tolbert, at around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Police initially said they went to complete a Craigslist purchase of bunk beds, and had not been seen or heard from since.
A friend of the boy's mother and family friends passing out fliers Friday morning told Channel 2's Steve Gehlbach exclusively that Taylor did not go to buy the beds off Craigslist.

According to family friends, the child’s mother said she gave Taylor $500 to buy the bunk beds and mattress. She said that after their disappearance, she contacted the seller, who said Taylor was not at the location, had not been there and never even contacted them about the bunk beds.
Family friends tell Gehlbach that Taylor is a drug user and that he likely went to purchase drugs with the $500.
