ATLANTA — Storms and showers have impacted some Fourth of July celebrations in and around the metro Atlanta area.
Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking the remaining showers and storms, on the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat at 11.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued for Cobb, Fulton, Douglas and Paulding counties Tuesday afternoon, but it has since expired.

Due to the weather, Atlanta United temporarily closed its gates to Bobby Dodd Stadium ahead of Tuesday’s game against San Jose because of severe weather in the area.
It is supposed to kick off at 7 p.m., but was delayed until 7:30 p.m.
Additionally, the opening of the gates for Georgia Salutes America fireworks were delayed due to weather.
The gates were supposed to open at 6 p.m., but were delayed until 6:30 p.m.
The strong storms downed several trees onto homes across metro Atlanta.
