It could be a warm Christmas in Georgia this year.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz says the long-range forecast for the holidays shows above average temperatures between Dec. 23 and Jan. 5.
Nitz said the average low for this period is around 33 degrees and the average high is around 53 degrees.
"There certainly may be a cold snap at any point, but the overall weather pattern is expected to bring warmer temperatures," Nitz said.
