ATLANTA — The body of a 15-year-old girl killed in a plane crash in Puerto Rico is expected to be back in Atlanta Monday evening.
The Paideia School is working through tragedy after a small plane, carrying Molly Wrede, 15, her best friend Casey Ellyson and her father Scott, crashed off Puerto Rico's north coast on Saturday. Molly was the only one who did not survive.
"The other two people who were in the plane are in intensive care in San Juan,” Headmaster Paul Bianchi said.
Bianchi told Channel 2's Liz Artz that Ellyson's mother and grandmother were in a separate plane that took off first.
Bianchi said Molly has attended the school since she was a small child, along with her older sister, and both her parents worked here. The loss has devastated this community.

"Be together, hug each other, there were some tears but a lot of laughter when I remember her,” Molly’s French teacher Eddy Hernandez said.
Hernandez had her in class every day this past year.
“She liked to dance,” Hernandez said. “She sang, she played volleyball, she ran track."
Councilors will be on hand throughout the summer to help this small community deal with such a big loss.
Bianchi told Artz he has been in touch with Casey's mother. Casey and Scott are both in the ICU in Puerto Rico. He said Casey still doesn't know her friend didn't survive.
"They really don't know what happened yet,” Bianchi said.
