ATLANTA — A large tree fell on an elderly woman's home in northwest Atlanta.
The woman's son said they were both inside the home on Arcadia Circle when the tree came crashing down Friday around 9 p.m.
"You hear 'vroom.' The house shakes, you know," Thomas Turner said.
The tree damaged the roof, some windows and a few awnings.

Neighbors across the street called Channel 2 Action News when they saw the tree still on the house Saturday night.
"Everything is OK, but she's going to need some help over here with that," a neighbor said.
The fire department called the homeowner and said a crew will come out Sunday or Monday to clear out the mess.
