Police said they need help identifying a man seen in surveillance photos, wearing a white tank top.
They said he is a possible suspect and have information that makes them believe he was the aggressor in the case.
"So we're asking for the public's help today to help us identity, if you recognize these images, primarily the suspect who has the white ripped t-shirt, what we feel is our primary aggressor," Vasquez said.
Police also said they believe the people involved knew each other, but they do not know to what extent.
A crime scene tech dusted and lifted fingerprints from the car, but investigators do not know what role it played in the murder.
They do know a lot of people were in the parking lot.
