ATLANTA — Millions of Americans are heading home Sunday following the Thanksgiving holiday.
Cars were backed up at Atlanta's Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Sunday night as drivers arrived to drop off and pick up passengers.

Channel 2's Nefertiti Jaquez said traffic started to get heavy well before the airport. Passengers said it took them hours to get to the airport and it took even longer to get through security.
"This is the worst I've seen it at an airport ever," one flyer said.
The rule of thumb for this holiday travel week has been to arrive two hours early for domestic flights and three hours early for the international flights.
Some travelers said they were frustrated by the traffic and long lines. Others said they expected it to be busy.
"It is what it is. I'd rather be safe than sorry so I'm willing to deal with it," Ashley Wright said.
Airport officials said they didn't have any major delays, but there were a few cancellations.
