ATLANTA — Investigators are working to identify a woman found dead at Underground Atlanta.
They are trying to see which, if any, surveillance cameras are working.
Officers said they found a woman at the bottom of the steps at Underground Atlanta around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
She had injuries consistent with having been stabbed in the neck, according to police.

“There’s nothing indicative that she was sexually assaulted,” Atlanta Police Lt. Charles Hampton said.
Hampton said investigators do not believe the woman was a stranger to the area.
“It appears she may be someone who frequents the area,” Hampton said.
He said the woman had a purse with her but there was no identification in it.
They believe she is in her mid 20s or early 30s.
Investigators do not have any witnesses or motive.
