ATLANTA — The daughter of popular rap artist T.I. was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Thursday after police said she tried to take a gun through security.

Zonnique Pullins has been charged with carrying a weapon or long gun through security.

According to a police report, Pullins had a .380 Ruger semi-automatic pistol in her purse and it was spotted by an X-ray tech as she tried to go through the security checkpoint at the airport.

Pullins told the TSA agents that she had a gun permit but the agents said she did not have it on her at the time.

Pullins was taken to the Clayton County Jail. She has since bonded out.
