ATLANTA — Tropical Storm Julia brought minimal rain to parts of southeast Georgia, and continues to move up the east coast.
Severe Weather Team 2's Glenn Burns is tracking Julia as the tropical storm moves up the east coast to South Carolina.
Burns reports the storm moved quickly through Savannah, leaving only a half inch to three quarters of an inch of rain.
Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking the timing and impacts of the storm on Channel 2 Action News.
The storm is hovering over Charleston, SC throughout Wednesday evening.
The storm has 40 mph wind gusts and is giving Charleston about three inches of rain.

Burns says metro Atlanta won't see any showers as a result of Tropical Storm Julia.
A tropical storm warning had been in effect Wednesday morning from Fernandina Beach to the Altamaha Sound in Georgia but was later canceled.
