Warm temperatures today, but rain possible this weekend

ATLANTA — Temperatures are currently climbing into 60s and 70s and will ultimately hit the low 80s.

Severe Weather Team 2 is tracking when temperatures could reach the 90s, on Channel 2 Action News.

"The moisture increase will also come with the chance for storms," Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Katie Walls said.

The best chance for isolated storms Saturday will be in the north Georgia mountains. Some could be strong, Walls said.

Rain is possible Sunday and Monday.

Temperatures Saturday and Sunday will run in the upper 80s, and the lower 80s on Monday.
