ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating an armed carjacking at Lenox Square.
Investigators said a woman and her two granddaughters had just parked in the parking deck outside Neiman Marcus when she said was approached by a man with a gun.%

It happened around lunchtime Monday on the third level of the garage.
The man demanded the woman hand over her keys as her grandchildren watched on in horror. She told her granddaughters to run as she threw him the keys to the 2015 Mercedes.
The man then ordered the woman to hand over her phone. A bystander called 911.
Mall management says they are working closely with APD in this investigation. They have also beefed up their security.
