BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — A massive fire at an auto shop in Cartersville destroyed the business and several cars inside Saturday.

The fire broke out around 12:15 p.m. at the K.O. Automotive shop on Felton Place. The blaze created a plume of black smoke that was visible for miles.

Firefighters initially attempted to put the fire out but were unable to. The building and up to eight cars inside were completely destroyed. A few cars outside of the business also sustained damage.

No one was injured.
