ATLANTA — A Cobb County Transit bus was engulfed in flames Thursday evening.
Around 5 p.m., Atlanta firefighters responded to a call about a vehicle on fire.
Images on Georgia Department of Transportation camera showed the bus on fire near I-75 SB at Howell Mill Road Northside Drive.
Channel 2 crews reported seeing flames coming from the back of the bus.
The fire was contained and flames were fully extinguished.

Officials confirmed the bus was unoccupied and there were no reports of injuries.
All lanes were shut down, but have since reopened.
