PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — A house was heavily damaged when a car went flying into it after a wild crash Thursday morning.
Paulding County Sheriff’s Department said the wreck happened on Highway 61 when a car rear-ended a Jeep, which then hit another car, and then the Jeep crashed into the home.
The driver of the Jeep said he tried to swerve into the side of the road but didn’t realize there was an embankment.

Ginger Whiteis was sleeping inside her home when she heard a loud “boom.”
“I figure if somebody came off the embankment and hit the house it would be crumbled, it would be flipped upside down, he drove a Jeep, soft top, airbag didn’t even deploy and he walked away from it,” Whiteis said.
No one was injured, but authorities said the house suffered major damage.
