WOODSTOCK, Ga. — A 7-year-old boy who collapsed on a Cherokee County YMCA soccer field has died.
Aidan Heath was rushed to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston on Sept. 8 when he suffered what has been described as seizure.
“We turned him over and the coach started CPR and I started breathing for him,” said grandmother Peggy Moore.
Heath had been in a coma until Sunday, when his family said the boy had passed away.
His mother posted on the "Prayers for Aidan" Facebook page about his death.
"Aidan is a blessing to so many here on earth and is now a major blessing to all above. He will continue to watch after his little brother Jasper and his mother Ashley from a much more powerful place."
