CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — A code red was issued for Woodstock High School and Middle School on Friday afternoon after a student was attacked with a knife.
All doors were locked and no one was allowed in or out of the building.
Police and first-responders were called to the scene and learned that the suspect ran from campus.
Channel 2's Ross Cavitt was told that the victim suffered non life-threatening injuries and is stable at a local hospital.
Police found the student accused of putting two schools into code red and took that individual into custody.
The school lockdown has been eased to transition for dismissal.
