Teens in alleged plot against school ID'd, booked into jail (MUGSHOTS)

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has obtained mugshots of the two high school students arrested on attempted murder charges.

The teens are facing multiple charges after investigators said they made threats against Etowah High School in Cherokee County.

On Channel 2 Action News at 5 p.m., Richard Elliot reported that 17-year-old Alfred Dupree and 17-year-old Victoria McCurley were being booked into the Cherokee County Jail.

Dupree is charged with three counts of criminal attempt to commit murder, four counts of terroristic threats and acts, criminal attempt to commit arson and possession and/or transportation of destructive device/explosive with intent to kill, injure or destroy any public building.

McCurley is charged with three counts of criminal attempt to commit murder, four counts of terroristic threats and acts, and criminal attempt to commit arson and possession and/or transportation of destructive device/explosive with intent to kill, injure or destroy, sheriff’s officials.

The Cherokee County School District sent a letter to parents on Wednesday pledging "severe administrative disciplinary actions" against Dupree and McClurey.
