Chick-Fil-A gives away free food to help ease traffic amid I-85 fire, bridge collapse

ATLANTA — Citizens impacted by the bridge collapse along with commuters and responders may soon get the gift of tasty nourishment.

Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the greater Atlanta metro area have committed to providing meals to those working around the clock to encourage new commuting behaviors and help reduce traffic.

 Here’s the timeline:

Atlanta-area Chick-Fil-A restaurants will offer one breakfast entrée per person for guests who visit the restaurant Monday through Friday before 7:30 a.m., April 3 - April 14.

In order to qualify for the free breakfast you must also be carpooling with at least three or more kids or adults in the vehicle at the time.

Breakfast entrees you can choose from include a chicken biscuit, chick-n-minis (any count), breakfast burrito, or egg white grill.

In addition to the giveaway, Chick-Fil-A has already begun distributing food to first responders and local command centers through the Chick-Fil-A foundation in partnership with local operators.

In order to continue rewarding positive behavior Chick-Fil-A will be surprising commuters by distributing food at various MARTA stations in the coming weeks.

Chick-Fil-A is still working to determine giveaway locations in partnership with local operators.
