DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A child is dead and a mother is in critical condition after they were found in a car at an Emory Hospital parking deck.
The car was hauled away by a tow truck from an Emory Hospital Parking Garage.
DeKalb County Police said a little girl was found dead.
Police told Channel 2's Nefertiti Jaquez that they got the call just after 6 Thursday evening.
When emergency crews arrived, there was nothing they could do. The 1-year-old was already dead.

Her mother was still breathing and was rushed to the hospital’s emergency room.
Police said there were no obvious signs of trauma, so they don’t suspect foul play, but they are calling this case “suspicious.”
Investigators are trying to figure out how and why the incident occurred.
The names of the victims have not been released.
