EASLEY, S.C. — Bert Henderson, Clemson University's associate athletic director of planned giving, was found dead on Tuesday afternoon, according to The Anderson County Sheriff's Office.
Henderson, 60, did not attend work Monday and was reported missing later in the day from his home on West Church Road in Easley, South Carolina.

Sheriff's K-9 tracking teams and the Anderson County Technical Rescue were actively involved in the search.
According to Clemson University's website, Henderson has been with the school since 1978, when he started as an athletic trainer.
That was also the same year he graduated from Mars Hill College with a bachelor's degree in physical education and health.
Most recently, Henderson served as the associate athletic director of planned giving for the university.
