COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police have identified the woman whose body was found in the backyard of a Cobb County home over the weekend.
Channel 2 Action News has learned the victim, 38-year-old Melissa Fisher, disappeared last week and was reported missing by a co-worker.
On Saturday, a tenant discovered her decomposed body on the 4500 block of Baker Grove Road. The man found Fisher in his backyard and called 911.

"Given the condition of the body, it had been out in the elements for some time," said Acworth Police Capt. Mark Cheatham. "There was no obvious signs of foul play or trauma to the body."
Police believe drug use contributed to Fisher's death.
Fisher owned and operated Pet Sitter Patrol.
