COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A child was rushed to the hospital after police say they were left in a vehicle.
The Cobb County Police Department said the incident happened Wednesday evening at Town Center Mall in Kennesaw.
Dao Truc Le, 23, was later arrested and was taken to the Cobb County Jail. She faces first degree child cruelty charges.
Police say she left her child in the car for more than two hours as she went to work inside the mall. Reports say the child had 100.2 degree temperature later at the hospital.
A judge set bond for Le at $50,000.
This comes after Atlanta experienced some of the hottest temperatures so far this year.
