COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Six people, including at least two children, have been taken to the hospital after a car crashed head-on into a school bus Wednesday afternoon, Cobb County officials said.
The crash was reported just before 3 p.m. at Riverside Parkway and Crestside Drive.
Investigators say a car hit the bus head-on.
“The car just ran in and just smacked the bus in the front,” witness Shaniece Jewel said.

Jewel said she saw the woman driving the car that hit a Bryant Elementary School bus head-on before flying into a ditch along Riverside Parkway.
"They had just literally let the kids off the bus. The kids were walking to their homes,” Jewel said.
Two children remained onboard, and Jewel said she'll never forget rushing to their side.
"He was able to tell us his colors. He was able to tell us everything." Jewel said.
She said one boy and one girl wanted comfort.
“All he wanted was his mom,” Jewel said. “All the little girl wanted was her mom, so that was it. She just kept crying for her mom. 'I want my mom. I want my mom.'"
Two children were taken to the hospital, treated and released Wednesday night.
The bus driver was taken to WellStar Kennestone.
