COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A driver is in the hospital and will face multiple charges after he slammed into several cars and backed into a Cobb county gas station.
In a surveillance video, you can see a black BMW flying backwards into an SUV and then a Chevron gas station.

Perez, who owns a hair salon across the street from the Chevron on Powers Ferry Road in Marietta, saw everything happen.
"He was coming like crazy, going around and around. I said, 'Oh my God!'" said Perez.
Police say the driver is 38-year-old Jon Gatsby Karr. Perez told Channel 2 Action News anchor Craig Lucie that Karr was going at least 60 miles per hour, and the collision was extremely loud.
"The car is going 'vroom vroom', like the car is coming here. I told my husband to move inside because I think the car is coming in here," said Perez.
When the BMW slammed into an SUV, the SUV jumped the curb and hit a cage full of propane tanks. The BMW bounced off the SUV and rammed through the gas station wall.
"If he had hit the cage of propane… one of those could have blown up," said Hanif Chataiwala, who owns the gas station.
He showed Lucie the damage inside.
"A couple of windows are damaged. The whole frame of the wall is damaged with coolers all gone in. Luckily, there was a car parked there, otherwise he would've been parked inside the store," said Chataiwala.
Fortunately, no one happened to be shopping in an aisle where spilled drinks are scattered on the floor and drink coolers are leaning against a store shelf.
An officer with the Marietta Police Department told Lucie that the driver was very intoxicated and will remain at Kennestone Hospital until her sobers up. Karr is facing DUI and hit and run charges, to name a few.
