ATLANTA — Wave after wave of severe weather Wednesday has brought damage across metro Atlanta.

City of Atlanta:

Fulton County:
A large tree came crashing down on a Chevrolet Impala on Dodson Drive in East Point. Channel 2's Craig Lucie tweeted the incredible photo.

Forsyth County:
Firefighters say lightning hit a house in Forsyth County, causing it to catch fire Wednesday morning. A man was home at the time it happened.

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office posted on their Facebook page a photo of a landscaping retaining wall that collapsed at the Flynn Crossing Publix shopping center on McGinnis Ferry Road and Windward Parkway.
Landscape retaining wall has deteriorated and became a hazard. The location is at Flynn Crossing Publix entrance on McGinnis Ferry Rd and Windward Parkway intersection.

Coweta County:
Channel 2's Audrey Washington reported seeing downed trees across Coweta County. The Emergency Management Agency reports saying that the fire department has cleared the trees.
Douglas County:
A tree crashed onto a house in Lithia Springs but luckily no serious injuries were reported. Channel 2's Richard Elliot was at the scene.
