At one point, the 23-year-old brother went to the backyard to check on the dogs.
Police said he was apparently assaulted, shot and killed. That's when the 24-year-old brother went outside and was shot in the arm, according to police.
Police said the suspects got away.
The woman who were inside the home ran away as well, police said.
Investigators said they are looking into whether or not the incident was a set up.
