DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation and DeKalb County police on Tuesday raided eight businesses for illegal gambling along Glenwood Road.
Channel 2's Liz Artz was the only reporter there when police moved in morning after a months-long investigation.
Agents said they had eight search warrants for gas stations, convenience stores and local groceries.

All of the businesses accused of running illegal gambling operations. The GBI allowed Channel 2 Action News to get video of the gaming machines
A store owner is accused of paying out cash instead of store merchandise.
GBI special agent in charge Cindy Ledford said community tipped them off to the illegal activity.
“Family members from people playing these machines (said), ‘They're spending all of our money. I can't feed children I can't pay my bills,’" Ledford said.
The GBI said they went undercover for weeks along Glenwood Road. Ledford said hundreds of thousands of dollars a month were being made just on the road in illegal gambling.
