DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a double-homicide in DeKalb County.
Police confirmed to Channel 2's Audrey Washington that a mother and daughter were found dead inside the house on in the 2000 block of Parkway Trail in Lithonia Wednesday morning.

DeKalb County police said a baby was found alive inside the home.

According to police, a family member found the mother and daughter dead with one of them in the doorway.
Family members identified the victims as Tasha Fluker, 41, and her daughter, Janazia Miles, 26.
A family friend told Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes that Fluker celebrated her birthday hours before the murder.
Wednesday afternoon, police arrested and charged Fluker's boyfriend, Michael Thornton, 40, with murder.
