Jamieson said she had just returned home when she heard rapid gunfire coming from down the hall followed by tearful screams.
"I heard running, then I heard tires squeal and ran to the window to see if I could see someone driving off," Jamieson said.
When she didn't see anyone take off she said she immediately grabbed her cellphone and called 911.
"When police arrived we went out to the hallway and saw them resuscitating him," Jamieson told Jaquez.

Jamieson started recording video with her cellphone as emergency crews tried to resuscitate the victim who police said was then rushed to the hospital where he later died.
“They're trying to piece together what exactly happened, what took place, what led up to the shooting and who the suspect may be," Maj. Brandon Gurley, with the Brookhaven Police Department.
More cellphone video showing detectives processing the scene near a third-floor elevator. Shell casings were scattered across the floor.
"It's a little unnerving and unsettling," neighbor Donald Perry told Jaquez.
Residents said they're now concerned because investigators are not sure if the victim is a resident or a guest.
Police said a purple Dodge Challenger they towed from the complex is connected to the killing, but would not give specifics as to how.
"I'm worried,. I'm a young lady. I have to take care of myself. So I am concerned," Jamieson said.
