DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are searching for a gunman who shot a man walking with a woman on Wednesday morning, and then carjacked a county work van.
According to DeKalb County police, the gunman encountered the couple on the 3000 block of Beech Drive. The woman pulled a gun on the man but the man then shot her boyfriend in the leg.
The gunman then ran from the scene and carjacked a DeKalb County Watershed van, according to officers.

Just after 12:30 p.m., police found the van about a half-mile from where the carjacking happened, but no one was inside.

The gunman is describes as a black male, mid-20s, 6 feet tall, heavy set with a green book bag and a dark colored T-shirt.
He is considered armed and dangerous.
