DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - A large fire has shut down Flat Shoals Road at Fayetteville Road.
DeKalb Fire confirmed to Channel 2 Action News crews battled a 2-alarm fire at the scene where two homes were burning. The fire was extinguished around 7:15 p.m. The road remains closed.
NewsChopper 2 flew over the scene where it could see smoke crossing Interstate 20. DeKalb fire said the homes were vacant and no one was injured.
