FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Two women are dead after an incident inside a north Fulton County hotel.
Police said a welfare check led to the deadly discovery at 10775 Davis Drive in Alpharetta.
Megan Creighton and her family are staying at the Homewood Suites.
She was surprised to see police swarm the hotel Monday afternoon.

"I'm totally shocked,” Creighton said. “I had no idea.”
Public Affairs Officer George Gordon says management called 911 after a cleaning crew couldn't gain access to a third-floor room.
"We entered the hotel room and discovered a deceased female in the room and we discovered another female who was showing signs of life and was alive at the time,” Gordon said.
Gordon said EMS rushed the survivor to North Fulton Hospital in critical condition, but she later died from her injuries.
"We do not believe this was a random act of violence,” Gordon said.
Monday evening police said the investigation led them to believe there was a victim and perpetrator located in the same room.
Creighton just wants answers.
"I'm shocked, and we're here with my two kids so it's a little scary,” Creighton said.
Police aren't releasing the identity of either victim at this point.
