GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A chase ended in a crash Friday afternoon, the Georgia State Patrol said.
A suspect in a Nissan Sentra drove down Interstate 85 from Franklin County to near Atlanta at speeds of up to 115 mph, according to GSP.
The chase began when a traffic stop revealed the suspect was driving with a suspended license.
The suspect was identified as Salas Arangure Salvador, of Lithia Springs.
Franklin County sheriff's deputies tried to handcuff him, and he jumped back in his car the chase began, they said.

Officers chased him through several counties at high speeds.
GSP troopers performed a PIT maneuver to bring the chase to an end. No one was injured.
Salvador was taken into custody on I-85 at Pleasant Hill.
He is being booked into the Franklin County Jail.
He faces multiple charges including fleeing, giving a false name, reckless driving and possession of marijuana.
