Thirteen hours later the scene remained active, a car blocking the drive and investigators searching the house.

Police suspect Savage shot and killed one man and injured another.

Channel 2 Action News had interviewed the father in 2012 after his college-age daughter was arrested and sent to prison after being convicted of making pipe bombs.

Police were initially concerned Savage was holed up in a combat bunker but Roberts said Savage never left the house.

"He ain't got no bunkers in the back of his house," Roberts said.
