61-year-old man’s body pulled from Lake Lanier, authorities say

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities have found the body of a missing man in Lake Lanier.

Hall County deputies say a 61-year-old man’s body was pulled from the lake at Bolding Mill Park on Saturday afternoon.

The man’s identity has not been released pending notification of his next of kin.

Hall County deputies shut down the park while they search, but it has now reopened.

The victim’s body is being taken for an autopsy before his cause of death is released.
