Henry County police searching for ‘armed, dangerous' murder suspect

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. — Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a man accused in murder in Henry County.

Tory Leroy Jones is accused of murdering 40-year-old Elimisha Maryetta Gates Tuesday night on 619 West Highway 138 in unincorporated Stockbridge.

Police say Jones is believed to be armed and is considered dangerous.

The 44-year-old is 6 foot, 5 inches tall, weighs about 225 pounds and walks with a limp, police say. He may be driving a 2002 Mazda Tribute with drive out tag in the area of Jonesboro and Stockbridge.

Jones may be attempting to leave the state.
