MCDONOUGH, Ga. — A family is in shock after their loved one was gunned down while he was sitting in his car outside a home on Monday.
McDonough police were called to a home on Simpson Street around 8:30 p.m. Monday and found Derante “Tae” Bailey dead from a gunshot wound to the head.
Neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots.
Channel 2's Matt Johnson talked to Bailey's family, who described him as a caring and quiet person.

“And I just lost it, and by the time I got over there and saw the lights and stuff, I just lost it,” said a family member.
Family members said Bailey had lived at the house for about a year.
Police have not released any details in the case.
