LOCUST GROVE, Ga. — Police discovered the bodies of two adults and one child inside a Henry County home Monday afternoon.
Officers roped off the area near the home on the 3300 block of Bill Gardner Road with crime scene tape.
“We're not looking for any suspects at this time, no vehicles,” said Capt. Joey Smith with the Henry County Police Department.
The bodies of a husband and wife, both in their 30s, and an 8-year-old boy were found during a welfare check, according to police.

They say the husband's and wife’s employers became concerned when neither showed up for work, and called police. When officers arrived at the home, they found an open door and a gruesome scene inside.
Officers say all three bodies were found in a back bedroom, but they are not confirming how the victims died.
Crime scene technicians stayed on the scene all day as they processed the gruesome evidence inside.

Neighbors said the couple had only lived in the house for a couple of years.
Police say there is still more work to be done before they can release any identities.
One neighbor said that he just feels horrible for the family and horrible that a child had to die.
