The manager of the Toys R Us in Henry County said they were fully stocked with the hottest selling toys and ready for the crowds.
“We have everything for little babies to bigger kids,” Arlene Banks said.
After opening early, Toys R Us will stay open for 30 hours straight.
At Best Buy in Gwinnett County, the manager said he was also expecting a lot of customers. Marcus Buckler said he formulated a plan beginning two hours before doors open that will help keep things running smoothly.

“We’ll hand out tickets for all the really big items and this ensures there’s not a big rush of customers trying to grab products. It keeps it very organized,” he said.
Buckler says customers always go straight for the flat screen TV’s, but that’s not the only hot selling item in the store this year.
“Even appliances is going to be a big category for us this holiday season. We’re very excited about it and I think the customers are going to love it,” Buckler said.
Target stores along with most Simon malls in the metro area opened at 6 p.m.
Metro shoppers began camping out Wednesday. Tae Chun, who is first in line at the Best Buy in Duluth, said he set up his tent at 3 p.m. Wednesday hoping to score video games.
