JACKSON COUNTY, Ga. — A mother tells Channel 2 Action News that police have no leads on the location of her son who has now been missing for 50 days.
Authorities have been searching from the ground and air for Joshua Scott Adams since May.
Police found his abandoned car in Jefferson and his shoes on the banks of a nearby pond.
Adams' family reported him missing on May 21. They told police he has not left home before, but they are concerned about recent drug use.
Adams, 25, is 6-foot-3 and weighs 215 pounds. Adams has brown eyes and short brown hair. He has a tribal tattoo on his right shoulder and chest and a tattoo of “AVA” on his right foot.
Adams was last seen wearing tan shorts and a green long-sleeved shirt.
Anyone with information about this case is being asked to call the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office at 706-367-8718.
A $10,000 reward is being offered in the case.
