ATLANTA — It was a birthday that Lizzie Mae Riggins won’t forget!
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brad Nitz surprised Ms. Riggins at her 101st birthday Thursday morning at the East Lake Highrise in Atlanta.
Her family invited Nitz because she enjoys watching his forecast on Channel 2 Action News. She said it’s her favorite pastime.
Nitz said it was a privilege to be at Ms. Riggins’ party.
