BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — The family of a Barrow County boy is rejoicing over another milestone.
New video posted to Tripp Halstead's Facebook page shows him walking with a little help. More than two years ago, a fallen tree limb left him with a serious head injury.
According to the post, Tripp is using an upsee to get around. The mobility device attaches to an adult and helps kids with motor impairment walk.
Since Tripp's 2012 injury, he has undergone more than a dozen surgeries.
