SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs police say a traffic stop led them to a $1 million drug stash.
Police told Channel 2’s Mike Petchenik they were doing a business check in the area when they noticed the suspect's car. A simple traffic stop led them to the big bust.
Investigators said inside the car was more than $1 million worth of meth, heroin and crack cocaine seized.
A witness, who asked not to be identified, told Petchenik he saw the car Nov. 11 at Dunwoody Place and Roswell Road.
"I saw a black Altima that was parked there," the man said. "The guys in the Altima panicked and made a left, which is illegal to make a left."

That's when Sandy Springs police said they pulled the car over and questioned Israel Arriga-Geron and Oswaldo Villegas.
"The passenger indicated and pointed to the trunk area," Capt. Mike Lindstrom with the Sandy Springs Police Department told Petchenik.
Lindstrom said that's where the officer found two coolers and baby diaper boxes.
"Upon opening up the coolers, the officer found a substantial amount of heroin, meth and cocaine," Lindstrom said.
Police arrested Arriga-Geron and Villegas for felony drug trafficking.
"It was a great investigative stop. He obviously paid attention to some of the cues that were given to him by the driver and the passenger,” Lindstrom said.
"People do things around here and sometimes as a law-abiding citizen it's difficult because you want to say stuff, but you just kind of keep quiet," the witness told Petchenik.
Police say they're still investigating where the drugs were headed to and whether the suspects are part of a bigger organization.
