DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. — One person has been hospitalized after a plane made an emergency landing in Dawsonville.
Authorities confirmed to Channel 2 Action News that a A Piper P32R-300 made the emergency landing at the Atlanta Motorsports Park around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
The person was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center by helicopter.

The pilot had just refueled in Gainesville, Dawson County Deputy Fire Chief Tim Satterfield said.
The FAA is currently investigating the incident.
