Police investigate 2 deaths, apparent overdose in same day

COWETA COUNTY, Ga. — Investigators in Coweta County are working to learn if two deaths and an apparent near overdose are connected.

Police say they revived 29-year-old Brandon Jordan with Narcan at the Brickhouse Tavern on Sunday.

They say they were not able to revive 26-year-old Danny Freeman in a Newnan home the same day.

Coweta deputies found a woman unresponsive in a different home.

She also died.

“Anyone that's been around them at some point in time, that maybe can give us a history of what their lifestyles were,” Sheriff Mike Yeager said.

Investigators say Jordan and Freeman went to the same tavern. They are not sure if the men knew each other.
