RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. — It was a dramatic end to a nightmarish scenario spanning two states and involving thousands of law enforcement officers.
Escaped inmates Ricky Dubose and Donnie Rowe were caught in Rutherford County, Tennessee, after more than 60 hours on the run after allegedly killing two corrections officers.
At least 18 law enforcement agents were on hand at the time of the arrests.
Police radio captured the dramatic moments leading up to their arrests.
"Hold that car."
"10-4. I need you to 10-19 to this location."
“They have custody."
"If you're asking we do have custody."
The GBI said shots were fired, but no one was hurt.
