ATLANTA — Former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak and former Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann have officially filed for a divorce.

Fulton County Superior Court records show Biermann filed his petition on May 5 with Zolciak’s petition filed two days later on May 7.

Both Biermann and Zolciak say the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with Zolciak adding there is “no hope for reconciliation.”

Each have requested different arrangements for custody of their four children: 11-year-old Kroy Jagger, 10-year-old Kash Kade and 9-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren.

Biermann filed for sole legal and physical custody. Zolciak filed for joint legal custody, but primary physical custody. Biermann legally adopted Zolciak’s daughters Brielle and Ariana, but since they are adults, it’s not an issue in the divorce paperwork.

Both filed for child support, alimony and “equitable division of all marital assets and debts accumulated during the marriage.”

As for the couple’s Alpharetta mansion, Biermann wants “exclusive, temporary and permanent use and possession” of the home.
